- The Cockroaches' red convertible was later inspired as a cardboard cut-out car in 1995 driven by Jeff Fatt for the children's band he and Anthony Field formed in 1991.
- In the first shot of the music video, the scarecrow's legs are seen stuck.
- The music video was filmed in September 1988 when Paul's baby daughter, Bernadette, passed away.
